About us
Beth Cadwallader Equestrian is a full-service equestrian training facility one block from the ocean in Malibu, California. The focus is on developing confident horse and rider partnerships at all levels. We build on a solid foundation of basics including dressage work leading to light, balanced horses for the jumping arena.
Beth takes a positive approach to the correct, patient development of horses and riders so that each partnership can reach its true potential. She specializes in starting young horses, in maintaining high performance in older horses beyond what would be retirement age, and everything in between. Programs are individually tailored to bring out the talents of each horse and rider. Her positive approach and humor make the process enjoyable as well as effective.
The barn attends selected horse shows. The skill and confidence level of our horses and riders determines the competitions we attend, which run the gamut from A-shows to local schooling shows and “play days.”
Our barn is a family. We have fun. We work hard. We cheer for each other at home and at shows.
Beth believes that exposure to a wide range of experiences makes for happier in addition to show jumping makes for stronger, more confident horse/rider teams. Attending clinics, cross country schooling, three-day eventing shows, beach rides and African Horsseback Safaris are just a few examples.
